The Half Marathon
Same as the 10k route, but proceed beyond the 10k turnaround point and continue to the end of the beach and towards the bottom of the steep steps near the Old Boat house.
Climb the steep set of steps, which ascends through the wooded north side of Mynnydd Tir y Cwmwd. At the top of the climb take a small path to your right which will leads you onto open ground towards the summit of Mynnydd Tir y Cwmwd.
From the summit take the south/westerly path and decent towards Mount Pleasant, take a left turn at the path junction and follow till you come across the main Costal Path Route, which veers down to your right and down a steep rocky section and onto the minor road below.take a left turn at the road which leads you down to the beach, known locally as Quarry or Warren beach (feed station).
Proceed along the beach in a westerly direction towards Abersoch. The turnaround point will be at the far end of the beach near Y Fach where you will return along the same route in the opposite direction.
